Experience:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), or a related IT discipline.
Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, MCSE/MCITP, VCP/VCIX, or CISSP will be given significant preference.
At least 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in system and network engineering.
Proven experience in managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure, including Data Centers and Disaster Recovery sites.
Must have experience leading IT infrastructure projects and a team.
Solid background in implementing and maintaining core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange) and security solutions (Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
Demonstrable experience in designing and executing DR/BCP plans, including failover and replication technologies.
ASA Bangladesh, a leader in microfinance, is seeking a Lead System & Network Engineer to safeguard our mission-critical IT infrastructure. This is a strategic role responsible for the stability and security of our multi-site environment, connecting the Head Office, DR site, and hundreds of branches. You will lead the technical transformation of our DR site into a fully active setup, ensuring business continuity. Work under the supervision of the Senior Lead System Engineer and be accountable to the Head of IT through him.
Design and maintain system and network architecture aligned with organizational business requirements and strategy.
Manage and maintain the Data Center (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) site, including planning and implementing infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
Administer core IT business services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, IIS, Proxy, and Endpoint Protection.
Manage routers, switches, wireless devices, and WAN links; ensure stable and secure connectivity between the Head Office, DR site, and branch locations.
Manage firewalls, WAF, VPN, and other security technologies; implement enterprise security, including IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, PAM, and Load Balancers.
Implement backup policies and ensure DR site replication, synchronization, and failover readiness.
Transform the DR site into a fully operational active site, ensuring critical services remain available during disaster situations.
Act as the second-in-line for the IT Infrastructure team, providing leadership during critical or unforeseen situations to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor infrastructure and network performance, availability, and capacity; maintain reporting and documentation.
Coordinate with vendors and ISPs; manage maintenance activities, ensure SLA compliance, and confirm warranty and support obligations are properly fulfilled.
