Education:

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ 12+ years in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
∎ Hands-on experience managing large-scale networks, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
∎ Expertise in SD-WAN, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and virtual networks.
∎ Strong knowledge of network protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, QoS).
∎ Experience with firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
∎ Skilled in network troubleshooting and support (Level-2/3).
∎ Experience in disaster recovery, backups, and capacity planning.
∎ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Ability to collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
∎ Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving operational improvements.
∎ Network Uptime: % of time the network remains operational.
∎ Incident Resolution Time: Average time to resolve network issues.
∎ SLA Adherence: % of SLAs met with vendors and service providers.
∎ Security Compliance: % of network systems aligned with security policies.
∎ Capacity Utilization: Optimized use of resources and identification of potential bottlenecks. Documentation Quality: Timely and accurate reporting on network performance and incidents.
∎ Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Network Design, Configuration & Installation -Select, configure, and install network devices and services (routers, switches, APs, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, QoS).
∎ Set up and manage networks across local and branch offices, WAN/LAN, and virtual cloud networks (VCN) at OCI.
∎ Maintain configuration and change management policies to ensure success and transparency in all infrastructure changes.
∎ Monitor system performance to ensure availability, reliability, and network health.
∎ Perform network maintenance and upgrades, including patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
∎ Ensure system backups and disaster recovery operations are in place and regularly tested.
∎ Provide Level-2/3 support to resolve complex network issues.
∎ Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network device issues.
∎ Provide day-to-day operational support for the network environment and ensure timely incident resolution.
∎ Monitor existing network capacity and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
∎ Track system resource utilization, trends, and plan capacity upgrades as needed.
∎ Work with vendors and IT personnel to update or upgrade systems and resolve technical issues.
∎ Implement security tools, policies, and procedures aligned with IT security standards.
∎ Coordinate and enforce network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
∎ Ensure network infrastructure complies with internal policies and industry regulations.
∎ Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network topologies and security configurations.
∎ Monitor and analyze system/network logs and provide comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to the Head of IT.
∎ Ensure IT policies related to network infrastructure and security are enforced across locations.
∎ Job Purpose
∎ The Lead Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable, secure, and high-performing network infrastructure. This role ensures the availability, reliability, and security of network services to support business-critical operations across multiple locations, including manufacturing sites, sales offices, and remote branches.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
