Responsibilities & Context:
Purpose of the Position:
To oversee and coordinat all Finance and Accounts functions of Shun Shing Cement Industries Ltd., Sealift Stevedore Sercvices Ltd., and Sea Power Shipping Agency Ltd. under the concern of Shun Shing Group-Bangladesh Operations, ensuring effective financial control, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and timely financial reporting in alignment with corporate policies and business goal.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Head Office Finance & Accounts for all financial Operations, including fund reimbursement, daily receipts, and payments.
Approve and monitor budgeted expenditure, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency based on job sheets.
Maintain proper cash flow management and ensure timely bank deposits and reconciliations.
Supervise the daily financial activities of SSCIL, SLSSL, and SPSAL.
Ensure timely preparation of financial reports and submission to Head Office.
Monitor and reconcile Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Advance Aging reports; ensure prompt adjustment of outstanding balances.
Oversee VAT accounts and ensure compliance with all VAT and tax regulations.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank PDA reporting and other regulatory submissions.
Monitor raw material, spares, and consumable inventories, identifying slow- and fast-moving items for efficient stock management.
Monitor RTD/WTD operations, including trip profitability and revenue recognition.
Month wise report for quantity, number of mother vessel handled, PDA collected and expenditure incurred.
Mother vessel/Job sheet wise profitability reporting.
