• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Cloud Engineering roles with 4+ years of deep hands-on AWS experience.

• Expert-level knowledge of AWS core services (compute, storage, networking, security, databases, serverless)

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, or CDK for IaC.

• Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS) — cluster design, Helm, ingress controllers, autoscaling, RBAC.

• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python (Go is a plus).

• Proven experience building and operating multi-environment CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of Linux systems administration, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS), and security best practices.

• Strong experience in system design and software architecture (microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture).

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and set technical direction.

• Expertise in industry-standard coding best practices — SOLID principles, clean code, design patterns, TDD/BDD, and CI/CD.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Architect, build, and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53, VPC, IAM, API Gateway, and ELB.

• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or ArgoCD for multiple application stacks (.NET, Go, Java, Node, etc.).

• Implement containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

• Design and enforce cloud security — IAM policies, secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, KMS), network segmentation, WAF, Shield, and compliance controls.

• Implement observability — centralized logging (CloudWatch, ELK), metrics (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch), distributed tracing (X-Ray, OpenTelemetry), and alerting.

• Drive cost optimization, capacity planning, autoscaling, and DR/BCP strategies across AWS environments.

• Lead SRE/DevOps initiatives — SLAs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident-management processes.

• Architect, design, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with business goals.

• Lead technical discussions, drive engineering standards, and enforce best coding practices across the team.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features from concept to production.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
