Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities of a Junior IT Officer.
Desktop & Helpdesk Support: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for laptops, desktops, and printers. Install and configure operating systems.
Network & Connectivity: Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, and switches. Assist with internet connectivity, VPN setups etc.
Security & Surveillance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, NVRs, and IP cameras. Manage access control systems and fingerprint attendance devices.
Asset & Data Management: Maintain an active inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Schedule and execute data backups and recovery operations.
