  • Age At least 22 years
  • At least 3 years (special consideration for the member of the Supreme court clerk association);

  • Work independently and under pressure;

  • Maintain good computer knowledge, particularly in MS Word;

  • Possess basic knowledge of court procedures, particularly the High Court Division;

  • Handle petitions, affidavits, vakalatnamas, annexures, court orders, judgments and other legal documents;

  • Monitor cause lists, hearing dates, case status and court updates;

  • Maintain and update physical and electronic case files and records;

  • Coordinate effectively with clients, Panel Lawyers, lawyers’ clerks and court officials;

  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive legal and client information.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned duties under the supervision and guidance of the person responsible for the High Court Cell.

  • Assist in collecting wakalatnamas and maintaining case related documents.

  • Provide assistance to Panel Lawyers and Panel Lawyer’s Clerks in case filing and follow-up.

  • Assist Staff lawyer in filing petitions, affidavits, annexures and other court works in the section of Supreme Court.

  • Collect certified copies, orders, judgments and other necessary case-related documents from the section of Supreme Court.

  • Track cause lists, case status, hearing dates and other court updates.

  • Update pending and ongoing cases and notify updates to the Panel Lawyers.

  • Collect documents from the Panel Lawyer.

  • Assist in sending, receiving and delivering case-related documents to and from concerned Panel Lawyers.

  • Maintain communication with clients, Panel Lawyers, Panel Lawyers’ Clerks and other concerned persons for quick disposal.

  • Provide necessary administrative and legal support for the overall activities of the High Court Cell.

  • Provide necessary support for any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
