Experience:
B.Sc.Ag (Honors) from a recognized University or B.Ag.Ed (Agriculture education) with 3-4 years of experience
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Climate Smart Agriculture, economic empowerment or related development programs.
Strong training and workshop facilitation skills
Strong technical, analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct market and gap analysis.
Demonstrated capacity to plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor livelihood, skills development, and economic empowerment activities.
Sound understanding of agriculture-based livelihoods, climate-smart agriculture, entrepreneurship, market linkages, employment, and skills development.
Experience working in South Chattogram or Cox’s Bazar is preferred; familiarity with the local context and ability to communicate in the local dialect will be an advantage.
Strong leadership, facilitation, networking, and partnership-building skills with government departments, private-sector actors, service providers, and other stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Strong report writing, documentation, data management, and analytical skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bangla.
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, as well as email and internet applications.

Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) <www.ypsa.org> is an organization for sustainable development, working in the greater Chattogram division including Hill Tracts (CHT) since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA is going to implement a project titled “SheFarms” at Chakaria and Mathamuhuri in Cox’s Bazar. The project will be implemented with fund from the Federal German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and technical support from Plan International Bangladesh.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
A. General Responsibilities
1. Plan, implement, monitor, and report on livelihood and economic empowerment activities for targeted young women and youth.
2. Ensure timely and quality implementation of project activities in line with approved plans, standards, policies, and sustainability requirements.
3. Provide technical and operational support to project staff and beneficiaries based on identified needs.
4. Facilitate training, workshops, seminars, and other capacity-building activities for beneficiaries and stakeholders.
5. Monitor the project context and provide timely updates and recommendations to the Project Coordinator.
6. Collect, analyze, document, and share monitoring findings, best practices, and lessons learned.
7. Promote sustainability by strengthening the capacity of beneficiaries and relevant service providers.
B. Technical Responsibilities
1. Lead the design and delivery of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) training in collaboration with DAE, DLS, and DoF.
2. Provide technical oversight of demonstration plots in five target Unions, including selection of hazard-appropriate seed varieties.
3. Train and mentor 20 Lead Farmers through a three-day ToT and provide ongoing technical backstopping.
4. Support the design and implementation of 50 women’s agri-enterprise start-up packages under Activities 1.1.5 and 1.2.1.
5. Monitor CSA adoption among 1,500 trained female farmers and verify the application of at least two CSA practices under Indicator 1.2.
6. Coordinate with DAE SAAOs on Farmer Field Days and demonstration plot management.
7. Conduct market assessments to identify viable and market-oriented livelihood opportunities for youth and young adults.
8. Facilitate the development of IAPs, FDPs, and BDPs based on market analysis and individual needs.
9. Organize and facilitate work-readiness, vocational, and skills development training for targeted youth.
10. Facilitate access to decent employment, entrepreneurship, apprenticeships, and other livelihood opportunities.
11. Facilitate appropriate cash/in-kind start-up support and linkages with private-sector apprenticeship opportunities.
12. Establish linkages with government departments and relevant service providers for training, employment, and livelihood opportunities.
13. Develop and maintain partnerships and a local resource map of relevant skills development, employment, and livelihood service providers.
14. Provide technical inputs to project planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of livelihood-related interventions.
C. Administrative and Reporting Responsibilities
1. Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual progress reports on assigned project components.
2. Maintain accurate records, databases, beneficiary information, monitoring data, and supporting documents.
3. Track progress against approved work plans, targets, indicators, and timelines and report deviations promptly.
4. Support the preparation of activity plans, budgets, procurement requirements, and other project documents.
5. Ensure efficient use of project resources in accordance with approved budgets, procedures, and value-for-money principles.
6. Ensure proper documentation of trainings, field activities, beneficiary support, and other project interventions.
7. Contribute to project updates, success stories, case studies, and learning and communication materials.
8. Maintain project records systematically for monitoring, review, audit, and reporting purposes.
D. Other Responsibilities
1. Represent YPSA and Plan International in relevant local coordination platforms, networks, meetings, and forums.
2. Maintain effective relationships with government agencies, private-sector actors, service providers, community institutions, and development partners.
3. Support organizational visibility, partnership development, and opportunities for scaling up relevant interventions.
4. Maintain regular coordination with DAE, DLS, DoF, and other relevant technical and skills development service providers.
5. Facilitate stakeholder coordination to strengthen market linkages, employment, apprenticeship, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
6. Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor or Project Coordinator.
