Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology (Laboratory Medicine) & must be registered with the State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh.

Job Context:
∎ Location: Relief International, Primary Health Care Center (PHCC), Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
∎ Reports to: Laboratory Supervisor
∎ Liaises With: Program Manager
∎ Duration: 2 Months (Renewable)
∎ The central laboratory of Relief International is serving patients seeking health care services from RI clinics; it also serves as a referral facility for other national and international organizations. Highly professional and talented Lab Technician with at least 3 years of experience in performing routine tests or analysis on blood and other body fluids to record normal & abnormal findings. Possess exceptional communication, documentation, team-work and time-management skills along with thorough knowledge of laboratory procedures and related equipment as well as health and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receiving, processing and analysing samples.
∎ Conducting tests on samples and experimental processes.
∎ Using, cleaning and maintaining various types of equipment.
∎ To adhere to the administrative and technical procedures in the laboratory.
∎ To record the receipt and results of all laboratory specimens and to ensure timely delivery to the Medical Doctor.
∎ To collect and supply laboratory data as required.
∎ To strictly follow health and safety procedures.
∎ To identify and possible improvements to laboratory services.
∎ To be responsible for the monthly lab request and to ensure a sufficient supply of laboratory reagents and materials and to maintain a stock control register.
∎ Any other assignment depending on the kind of the business

∎ Interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Strong observational skills
∎ At least (3) years' experience in a laboratory
∎ Previous experience of international organization is an advantage.
∎ Computer skills: Microsoft word, Excel, Power point
