Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Major-Laboratory Medicine.
∎ Internship must be completed from a Government Medical College.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Reporting to: Medical in Charge
∎ Department: Health
∎ Expected Start Date: ASAP
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2020.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure consistent supply of all laboratory materials including reagents.
∎ Maintain cold chain for reagents and any other temperature controlled materials.
∎ Regular servicing of machines and equipment in the laboratory.
∎ Supervision and training of laboratory technicians in the main lab and the clinics.
∎ Logistics coordination for the transport of samples.
∎ Coordinate with other NGOs to receive samples in the RI facility.
∎ Maintain quality of the testing.
∎ Maintain all logs and reporting required for the laboratory.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience working as a laboratory supervisor.
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage.
∎ Good coordination skills.
∎ Experience working with supply chain/ supply management.
∎ Computer Skills (e.g.-Microsoft word, Excel).
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Tour allowance, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
