∎ BS degree in Medical Technology, Biology or related field
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare lab equipment for upcoming research experiments
∎ Report data and compile information into graphs and documents
∎ Clean and maintain lab equipment
∎ Gathering data and info from test subjects & cross check where needed
∎ Monitor ongoing tests and record any alteration and report
∎ Assist in reagent preparations, mixing & processing for patient specimens in lab.
∎ Coordinate placing orders for inventory supplies needed in lab.
∎ Provide delivery of package and label solutions.
∎ Maintain and manage lab washroom & fix assets
∎ Ensure sanitation of entire lab and goods
∎ Head responsibility of equipment and feed storage areas maintenance.
∎ Update routine records of cage sanitation and wash chemical supply usage.
∎ Report cage equipment and chemical requirements to supervisor.
∎ Assist in storage of chemicals.
∎ Lead and direct general housekeeping of lab.
∎ Prepare chemical waste, disposal forms, reagents and experiments solutions.
∎ Ensure to dispose outdated components appropriately.
∎ Ensure to return recycle chemicals from labs.
∎ Head responsibility for collecting patient specimens required for processing in lab.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Proven working experience as a Lab Assistant
∎ Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment
∎ Computer literacy and experience with Laboratory Information Systems
∎ Accuracy and close attention to detail
∎ Strong analytical judgement
∎ Current license or relevant certification
