Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Textile Engineering
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform testing of textile materials to ASTM, AATCC, ISO and other relevant standards as required by the customer?
∎ As a technical personnel for the laboratory, train and guide other team members to help in test selection and test recommendations and textile related regulatory methods.
∎ To create, review and approve data sheets required by the laboratory.
∎ To work with maintenance and calibration team to communicate break down and schedule repair work of the equipment's.
∎ Follow up with the lab internal verification process of equipment's and test methods.
∎ To provide lab tours and participate in both internal and external technical discussions.
∎ To perform root cause analysis, write and implement corrective actions to fix non-conformance work in the lab.
∎ Monitor and keep the lab environment organized, neat and clean.
∎ Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 3 years in textile testing laboratory dealing with testing data review is required.
∎ Ability to discriminate hues (color) of the dyed and tested materials.
∎ Ability to interpret test methods and regulatory documents to the product evaluated.
∎ Must be detail-oriented, organized and have good time management and prioritization skills.
∎ Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical and business information, both oral and written to others, including co-workers, buyers, and vendors.
∎ Willingness to learn, adapt to the environment, and to perform multi-tasking.
∎ Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skill in English
∎ Self-motivated, confident and proactive
