∎ At most 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and purchases or requisitions foodstuffs and kitchen supplies: Plans or participates in planning menus, preparing and apportioning foods, and utilizing food surpluses and leftovers.
∎ Supervises non cooking personnel, such as Kitchen Helper to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
∎ Oversee all kitchen operations ensuring healthy and safe work practices.
∎ Order inventory and create an inventory system for kitchen supplies, ensuring sufficient stock levels.
∎ Ensure the safe storage and disposal of food and beverages.
∎ Ensure preparation and cooking stations are stocked appropriately.
∎ Notify Leadership Team of any repairs or maintenance required for kitchen appliances and equipment.
∎ Enforce proper sanitation and preparation practices and procedures.
∎ Supervises workers engaged in inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies.
∎ Purchases foodstuffs, kitchen supplies, and equipment, or requisitions them from Purchasing Agent.
∎ Trains new workers.
∎ May meet with professional staff, customers, or client group to resolve menu inconsistencies or to plan menus for special occasions.
∎ May assist dietitian to plan, change, test, and standardize recipes to increase number of servings prepared.
∎ Performs other duties shall be assigned as required under Executive Chef.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Hotel Experience will be given preference.
∎ Positive attitude and good communication skills.
∎ Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
∎ Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
∎ Have a good eye for detail.
∎ Must have basic computer skills for the day to day operation.
