Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery/ Diploma in Midwifery course complete with BNC registration but BSC in Nursing will be given preference.

∎ There is a vacancy for the following regular position based at LAMB Training Center, Parbatipur, Dinajpur:
∎ Job Summary: Responsible to work as a member of the educational team and to assist the teaching staff of the Training Program in developing and teaching Trainees/Participants/student according to the set standards and curriculum. Provide clinical supervision for Trainee/ NI & Diploma in Midwifery students during practical placement on the wards and in the community. Works as a MA, Nurse and Midwife in GW, SW, PW, LW, Delivery, ANC, Under 18, OPD (Gynae) to maintain skills and do the job assessment and training of staff nurse midwives/MA/CSBA/Other Trainees.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to preparing clinical rotational plan along with fellow Instructor and NI Principal and for the NI students’ theory, clinical practice and share with clinical team
∎ To provide different training (with Theory & Practical) to beneficiaries of LAMB:
∎ Lesson Plan and PPT, questions making under course based
∎ Nursing Students education. ie. Theory, Simulation, English, Courses, Simulation, Study, In-service, Night duty, Shifting duty, field visit and night stay.
∎ Facilitate liaison with the ARPs, clinical facilities (hospitals, clinics, medical colleges) along with the clinical team at the partners to facilitate clinical training
∎ Select clients at the clinical site for assessment in relation to course objectives, students’ goals, and level of expertise of students;
∎ Orient students to the clinical sites with fellow instructors; observe students’ interactions with clients and identify gaps in quality service delivery; evaluate students’ competencies during service delivery;
∎ Orient students on ‘formal case presentation format’ and assist them to present the cases with fellow instructors;
∎ Maintain the skills labs, prepare the skills labs with fellow instructors for specific session demonstrations and teach students through demonstration based on the session plan and the academic calendar;
∎ Check logbooks filled by students, review the clinical learning at the end of each shift and assist students in writing about reflective practice in line with learning objectives along with fellow instructors;
∎ Conduct assessment of students’ performance and communicate with fellow instructors regarding any student whose performance is unsatisfactory or unsafe, or whenever there are any concerns about her progress;
∎ Conduct other activities as and when assigned by the Supervisors.
∎ To supervise trainees during their practical work in the hospital.
∎ To supervise safe delivery section of branch units in LAMB “Community Health and Development” and target areas.
∎ To check and take necessary steps of patients referral slip for LAMB Hospital from Community Clinic or Safe Delivery Units.
∎ To work for shifting duty and on call as a senior Nurse Midwife in the all ward and Labor & delivery
∎ To prepare the schedule of Trainee and Trainers before starting of any education/training.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2-5 years’ experience on teaching / Clinical (Health Related topics or Nursing and Midwifery).
∎ Health Related Training eg: TOT, ARH, ANC, PNC, ENC, HBB, IMCI Training, Module development required.
∎ Sound knowledge on MS Office application program.
∎ Shifting duty and night stay at field SDU/FWC with students/trainee/staff-mandatory.
∎ Follow up supervision of all trainees/ student of NI & Midwifery students in Hospital/Field (SDU/FWC/CC) mandatory, shifting duty. Need to stay locally/ near the LAMB Campus.

Salary:
∎ Not less than Tk. 14,400 but salary will be negotiable, depending as per experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical care available at LAMB and Provident fund.
