Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Agriculture
∎ Diploma in Agriculture in any of the Agriculture College/ Training Institute under Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
∎ Skills Required: Field Supervisor, Field Work
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
agro based farm, Seed Production from a reputed Seed Production organization
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Farming
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Target-oriented Seed/ Potato Production through contract farming.
∎ Candidates having experience related to Contract Farming/ Potato/ Paddy Production will be preferred.
∎ To select Potato-based yearly Crop Production block on the basis of land quality, irrigation & drainage system.
∎ To select actual farmers for Processed / Export Potato Cultivation.
∎ Prepare block approval documents and timely submit to the Supervisor.
∎ Arranged farmer meetings and compete Agreements with contract growers.
∎ Impute distribution among the contract growers properly & timely.
∎ Regular field visits & provided technical support to the contract growers.
∎ To ensure quality Potato & other Crop Production by contract growers.
∎ To ensure proper Field Curing, Shade Curing, Sorting and Grading of Product.
∎ To ensure Product Collection and Storage smoothly.
∎ All data collection & update regularly of farmer, land and crops.
∎ Maintain stock and all documents regularly.
∎ Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sound technical knowledge of potato and rice production.
∎ Excellent interpersonal Skill, Presentation & Facilitation Skills including the ability to work in Team.
∎ Willingness to travel regularly at field/ remote (Char) Areas.
∎ Willing to drive Motorcycle.
∎ Candidates having valid driving license and own Motorbike will be preferred.
∎ Good interpersonal and effective communication skills.
∎ Smart, energetic, proactive, hardworking, self-motivated, Positive attitude, committed team player and dynamic.
∎ Must have typing skill in English and Bengali.
∎ Have good computer knowledge on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using Internet.
∎ Must be sincere and must be committed to Bangladesh.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the superior.Ability to work in stressful conditions and achieve the Target/ Results.
∎ Capable to work in Rural Areas.
∎ Reporting and Documentation Skills.
