Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting or related field/ Bachelor of Supply chain management.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
∎ Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans
∎ Obtaining, analyzing, and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.
∎ Prepare or contribute to the preparation of work plans (including risk assessment) and audit programs for assurance and/or consulting engagements.
∎ Conduct discussions of preliminary nature with heads of operations audited.
∎ Conduct - in accordance with IIA standards - segments of financial, operational and compliance audits of complex operations and conduct similar audits of small and medium sized operations.
∎ Obtain the required information directly or indirectly through examination of records or interviews with staff.
∎ For the processes audited, review and evaluate the system of management controls and assess their adequacy and effectiveness and, where appropriate, draft potential recommendations for improvements.
∎ Prepare working papers documenting adequate work performed.
∎ Draft segments of the reports and communications on the results of work performed, for review by the Head, IAU or by the auditor-in-charge.
∎ Assess the reliability and effective use of internal controls and assist in reviewing administrative procedures.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years of experience as a junior internal audit officer or in a similar position.
∎ Proven working experience as Junior Internal Auditor
∎ Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
∎ Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
∎ Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
∎ Sound independent judgement
∎ High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills Excellent familiarity of NGOs and donor (US government, UN, INGO, Govt. institution) policies and regulations.
∎ Good understanding of GoB's relevant rules and regulations and tax systems
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English, Bangla.
Salary:
∎ Consolidated monthly salary is Tk.25,000- 30,000(Including taxes).
