• Masters
• Bachelor/Honors

• Master’s degree in environmental science, Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Climate Change, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Environmental Studies, or other closely related disciplines from reputed university

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline may be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree, provided it is supplemented by at least two (02) additional years of relevant professional experience at progressively responsible levels.

• 8 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

Minimum 8–10 years of progressive professional experience in forest management, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, climate change adaptation/mitigation, or related environmental fields, with at least 5 years in a managerial, coordination, or senior technical role.

IUCN, represented by its Bangladesh Country Office, is implementing projects with support from various donors. To ensure the smooth operation of these projects, IUCN requires a Senior Programme Officer (Forest Environment and Climate Change)
