Responsibilities & Context:
  • Location: Rangamati with frequent field visits

  • Contract type: Fixed Term (Project period – one year 10 months)

  • Hours: Full time

  • Reports to: Head of Development Programs

Job Purpose:

  • The Project Manager for the RGIL project will oversee all aspects of project management, implementation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure affordable eye care to correct presbyopia. Core responsibilities include developing and managing project plans, strategies and budgets, coordinating with implementing partner, partners’ hospitals, WBC, community leaders, and key stakeholders in Chattogram Hill Tracts and leading community outreach efforts. The Project Manager will also oversee capacity-building initiatives & implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems for accurate reporting. In addition, the role involves fostering collaboration with local stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies, documenting outcomes, and promoting sustainability. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management, community engagement & mobilization, and team leadership to drive the success of this impactful initiative.
