Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters / Bachelor in Hydrogeology/ Geology from reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Development Agency, NGO
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Undertake borehole drilling, test pitting, soil description core logging, borehole installation and development, soil/groundwater sample collection, hydraulic testing (single well response test, pumping tests, infiltration tests), groundwater level monitoring, and water well surveys etc.
∎ Provide technical guidance and support to ensure installation and supervision of data logger, dip meter, submersible pump etc.
∎ To set up,calibrate, utilize, and maintain instruments that help the monitor water levels and extraction of volume and more.
∎ Collect and analysis the water level data, water pressure, volume of extraction and temperature and prepare report and submit to the WASH sector.
∎ Report Preparation: data processing, evaluation, and interpretation, using a variety of software tools including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc.
∎ Supervise the water sample collector through proper guideline on the regular basis.
∎ Work closely with the Technical Manager(Water and Sanitation) project management team.
∎ Maintain liaise with UNICEF (WQ&S) and NGO Forum central levels, and project management unit as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working in borehole drilling, data logger installation and pumping test.
∎ Professional work experience in borehole construction, bore log monitoring, dip meter operation,data logger installation and operationetc.
∎ Having knowledge on Aquifer, Lithology, and Pumping test.
∎ Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability-Computer skills (Have strong knowledge MS Office especially MS Excel analysis).
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and in response to changing needs.
∎ Good written and spoken in English is essential.
∎ Working experience in Refugee context/Cox's Bazar will be added advantage.
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
