Responsibilities & Context:
Feature Research & Planning
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer demands to propose new feature ideas.
- Convert insights into feature specifications, workflows, and user stories for developers.
- Prioritize features based on business goals, usability, and customer impact.
Feature Design & Documentation
- Create clear feature briefs, option lists, and acceptance criteria.
- Provide wireframes, flowcharts, or mockups (when required) to illustrate functionality.
- Ensure features are scalable, practical, and aligned with overall product strategy.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Test developed features from an end-user perspective to validate usability and correctness.
- Identify and report bugs, inconsistencies, or missing functionalities.
- Work with developers to refine and finalize features before release.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Act as a bridge between customers, management, and developers.
- Gather feedback after feature rollout and suggest enhancements.
- Keep documentation updated for future reference and team alignment.
