Education:

  • Minimum Diploma in Biomedical Technology, or related field/Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) with major subject physics, chemistry will be given preference.

  • 02 years of relevant experience in a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation center (Freshers may apply if candidates having relevant certified training, participation nation/international conferences and certifications obtained at home and abroad in the field).
  • Basic knowledge of audiological procedures and equipment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to learn health information systems.
  • Ability to work compassionately with hearing-impaired children and their families.


Responsibilities & Context:

Brief description of key responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting audiometric tests, including Pure Tone Audiometry, Tympanometry, Acoustic Reflex Threshold (ART), Speech Reception Threshold (SRT), Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), Auditory Steady-State Response (ASSR), Free Field Audiometry (FFA), Aided Audiogram, Behavioral Observation Audiometry (BOA), Eustachian Tube Function (ETF) testing, Speech Audiometry, and Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA), as applicable.

  • Support the setup, calibration, and routine maintenance of audiological equipment.

  • Help maintain accurate records of test results, patient data, and follow-up schedules.

  • Guide patients and their families on hearing aid use and basic maintenance under supervision.

  • Work closely with ENT doctors and audiologists to coordinate patient care.

  • Maintain a clean, organized testing environment, ensuring safety and infection control.

  • Participate in outreach or screening camps organized by SAHIC.

  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
