Brief description of key responsibilities:
Assist in conducting audiometric tests, including Pure Tone Audiometry, Tympanometry, Acoustic Reflex Threshold (ART), Speech Reception Threshold (SRT), Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), Auditory Steady-State Response (ASSR), Free Field Audiometry (FFA), Aided Audiogram, Behavioral Observation Audiometry (BOA), Eustachian Tube Function (ETF) testing, Speech Audiometry, and Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA), as applicable.
Support the setup, calibration, and routine maintenance of audiological equipment.
Help maintain accurate records of test results, patient data, and follow-up schedules.
Guide patients and their families on hearing aid use and basic maintenance under supervision.
Work closely with ENT doctors and audiologists to coordinate patient care.
Maintain a clean, organized testing environment, ensuring safety and infection control.
Participate in outreach or screening camps organized by SAHIC.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
