Experience:
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance·
Professional qualification in Accounting or Finance from a recognized professional body (or equivalent). Candidates with 60% to 75% completion of the qualification requirements will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, VAT/Tax regulations and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Team player and leadership potential.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle pressure and confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the overall operations of the Finance & Accounts Department, ensuring accurate accounting records and strong internal controls.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
Supervise daily accounting activities, including cash and bank management, billing, receivables, payables, book keeping, general ledger and financial reconciliations.
Monitor financial performance, budget variance, identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions to support management for effective decision making.
Coordinate statutory audits, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, accounting standards, applicable laws and regulations.
Manage banking operations, investments, and fund management, ensuring timely payments and proper utilization of organizational funds.
Verify and authorize bills, vouchers, payroll, employee benefits, and other financial transactions in accordance with delegated authority.
Oversee the implementation of ERP System, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, maintenance of ledgers and financial records, preparation of financial statements and timely financial reporting.
Provide data-driven analysis to assist management monitor investment and financing decisions.
Assist in designing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal financial policies to fix existing operational gaps as per directives of Management/Board of Directors/Advisors.
Act as the primary focal point for external auditors and financial/accounts advisors.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management/Board of Directors/Advisors.
