Education:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance·        

  • Professional qualification in Accounting or Finance from a recognized professional body (or equivalent). Candidates with 60% to 75% completion of the qualification requirements will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the overall operations of the Finance & Accounts Department, ensuring accurate accounting records and strong internal controls.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and budget variance analyses.

  • Supervise daily accounting activities, including cash and bank management, billing, receivables, payables, book keeping, general ledger and financial reconciliations.

  • Monitor financial performance, budget variance, identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions to support management for effective decision making.

  • Coordinate statutory audits, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, accounting standards, applicable laws and regulations.

  • Manage banking operations, investments, and fund management, ensuring timely payments and proper utilization of organizational funds.

  • Verify and authorize bills, vouchers, payroll, employee benefits, and other financial transactions in accordance with delegated authority.

  • Oversee the implementation of ERP System, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, maintenance of ledgers and financial records, preparation of financial statements and timely financial reporting.

  • Provide data-driven analysis to assist management monitor investment and financing decisions.

  • Assist in designing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal financial policies to fix existing operational gaps as per directives of Management/Board of Directors/Advisors.

  • Act as the primary focal point for external auditors and financial/accounts advisors.

  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management/Board of Directors/Advisors.
