Responsibilities & Context:

1. Patient Consultation: Examine and provide medical consultation to patients visiting the diagnostic center.

2. History Taking: Obtain detailed medical history, including present complaints, past illnesses, medications, and relevant family history.

3. Physical Examination: Conduct appropriate physical examinations based on the patient's complaints and clinical condition.

4. Prescription & Treatment Advice: Provide prescriptions and appropriate medical advice within the scope of practice.

5. Diagnostic Test Recommendation: Recommend necessary laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic tests based on clinical findings.

6. Test Result Review: Review and explain diagnostic test reports to patients and provide appropriate medical guidance.

7. Referral: Identify cases requiring specialist consultation, hospitalization, or emergency management and refer patients accordingly.

8. Follow-up: Provide follow-up advice and monitor patients when required.

9. Emergency Support: Provide initial assessment and basic first aid/emergency management and arrange referral to an appropriate hospital when necessary.

10. Patient Counseling: Educate patients regarding their condition, medication, lifestyle, preventive care, and general health.

11. Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, consultation notes, prescriptions, and other required medical documentation.

12. Coordination with Diagnostic Services: Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic departments to ensure appropriate patient care.
