Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate from any well reputed University/ Institute. Textile Engineers from any Govt, or reputed private university will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidate should have well versed in monitoring the production & Merchandising follow-up and sufficient knowledge about costing, Local & Overseas fabric/ Yarn sourcing, Accessories , printing and embroidery sourcing\ as well.
∎ Candidate must be self-organized quality and monitoring capacity with factories.
∎ Follow-up for Development, SMS and Production samples & capable to give design / artwork approvals to vendor's.
∎ Ensure that fabric and accessories are available in factory within the time frame.
∎ Production Monitoring as per TNA.
∎ Must have practical knowledge in developing new & latest Products, design by applying various embellishment or wash.
∎ Ensure smooth communications with customers and suppliers.
∎ Maintain all kinds of reports relevant to the unit activities, as required
∎ Communicating with overseas Customers / buyers over mail and phone.
∎ Checking costing in order with fabric consumption, fabric, Accessories & other's embellishments prices etc and price offers from factories.
∎ Candidate must have yarn, knitting, dying, lab process idea & sourcing as well.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates must have minimum 04-05 years working experience in an export oriented Garments / Buying House as an Junior / Assistant merchandiser. PRIMARK customer working / handling experience (Either directly or through Supplier's agents) is 1st priority.
∎ Working experience in Knit & Woven merchandising with buyer from Europe & USA.
∎ Must have good English communication skill.
∎ Must have vast knowledge in computer literature & software handling experience.
∎ Energetic, confident and proactive.
