PRF`s research has contributed to improvements of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professionals. Projahnmo Research Foundation is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Junior Accounts Officer.
∎ Duty station: Zakiganj and Sylhet.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carry out day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping of respective branch accounts office.
∎ Operation of petty cash and certification of petty expenses for the assigned branch offices.
∎ Weekly submission of bill-vouchers and providing of financial report to Account Officer.
∎ Assist Account Officer to compile monthly financial report.
∎ Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions in the branches.
∎ Ensure & verify all daily financial transactions entry through software.
∎ Ensuring compliance with financial & accounting rules & regulation as mentioned in following manuals personnel, operational, Bookkeeping & Accounting Manual.
∎ Assist ensuring organizational standard accounting procedures are followed for all payments to vendors / partners, advance liquidation etc.
∎ Any other tasks requested by the supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years experience in similar position in an NGO/INGO.
∎ Computer skill in MS word, excel and PowerPoint
∎ Experience in accounting software is preferable
∎ Should be willing to accept challenges and able to handle multiple tasks at a time
∎ Should be able to communicate effectively
∎ Able to summarize the results or observation
