Responsibilities & Context:
Akij Venture Group is seeking a dynamic and proactive professional for its Warehouse & Distribution team under the ABEL unit. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of all warehouse operations, directly impacting our supply chain and customer service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods.
Ensure accurate stock keeping through systematic documentation and daily stock reconciliation.
Maintain and enforce the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) system to manage inventory effectively.
Coordinate seamlessly with the distribution and transport teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Oversee product handling during loading/unloading to preserve quality and minimize damage.
Manage and assign tasks to warehouse manpower, preparing daily work schedules.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to all safety and company compliance standards.
Prepare and submit daily reports on stock status, delivery performance, and other operational metrics to the Head Office/Distribution team.
Actively support internal and external audit processes and physical stock verification.
