Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop, customize, and maintain Joomla websites and web applications for virtual e-commerce platforms with Hikashop.
∎ Create and implement custom Joomla and/or templates, modules, components, and plugins tailored for e-commerce functionalities.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring optimal performance and security for high-traffic e-commerce sites.
∎ Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement engaging user interfaces and experiences that drive online sales.
∎ Implement front-end and back-end development tasks using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
∎ Work with MySQL databases to manage and optimize product data, orders, and customer information.
∎ Ensure e-commerce websites are responsive, accessible, and adhere to web standards and best practices.
∎ Integrate third-party services and APIs relevant to e-commerce (payment gateways, shipping APIs, etc.).
∎ Perform regular updates, backups, and security checks of Joomla installations and e-commerce data.
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest Joomla versions, extensions, and web development trends in the e-commerce landscape.
