Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement ‘Let Us Learn (LUL): Enhancing educational access and alternative learning opportunities for out-of-school children and adolescents in remote areas’ Project supported by UNICEF. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.
∎ 1. Employer Engagement:Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and organizations to secure job placements, internships, and apprenticeships for learners.Identify new employment opportunities and establish formal partnerships with companies in relevant industries.Act as the main point of contact between the project and employers for job placements and labor market needs.2. Job Matching and Placement:Match learners' skills, qualifications, and interests with appropriate job opportunities.Facilitate interviews between learners and employers, ensuring smooth coordination and follow-up.Ensure that placement targets set by the project are met within the stipulated timeframe.Monitor the placement of learners, ensuring they are in roles that align with their training and career goals.3. Learner Support and Preparation:Conduct job readiness training sessions, including resume writing, interview preparation, communication skills, and workplace etiquette.Provide one-on-one career counseling to learners to help them understand job market trends, and navigate job searches, and career development.Help learners build professional networks and access information about job fairs and recruitment drives.4. Post-Placement Support:Follow up with both employers and placed learners to ensure job satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise during the initial employment period.Gather feedback from employers on learner performance and suggest improvements to the training curriculum where necessary.Provide ongoing career guidance and mentorship to placed learners for career growth and sustainability in their jobs.5. Data Collection and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner placements, including job types, employers, salary ranges, and contract types.Track the employment status and career progression of learners post-placement.Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on job placement activities, achievements, and challenges for project management and donors.6. Market Research and Analysis:Conduct labor market assessments to identify industry trends, skill gaps, and employment opportunities in the local and regional economy.Use market intelligence to adjust placement strategies and inform the project's training programs.Provide input into curriculum development to ensure alignment with job market demands.7. Networking and Event Management:Organize job fairs, employer networking events, and career days to facilitate direct interaction between learners and potential employers.Represent the project at industry events, conferences, and meetings related to employment and vocational training.Collaborate with industry bodies and associations to ensure learners have access to sector-specific job opportunities.8. Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with trainers, career counselors, and other project staff to ensure that learners are job ready.Liaise with external stakeholders such as government bodies, NGOs, and employment agencies to enhance job placement efforts.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Consolidated Tk. 37450 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
