Responsibilities & Context:
We are hiring a hard-working, multitasking IT Officer with advanced networking skills and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. This is a hands-on role—you will install, configure, repair, and troubleshoot IT systems and networking equipment daily. The job requires someone who can work under pressure, solve problems fast, and keep systems running smoothly for over 400 employees across our group of companies.
Perform preventive maintenance to keep the system running at 99.9% uptime
Monitor, test & fix network performance issues immediately.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs
Work with advanced routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) when needed.
Installed, upgraded, and maintained Windows Server for ERP and access control.
Set up and repair computers, printers, CCTV cameras, and access control systems.
Run cables, mount devices, and ensure proper network connectivity
Keep updated records of all IT assets and equipment
Handle the IT purchase process, including checking product compatibility and performance
Respond quickly to urgent IT support calls and resolve problems on-site
