Purpose Of The Position
Lead IT infrastructure and cybersecurity for 24/7 digital news operations. Ensure uninterrupted publishing, streaming, and business continuity through secure, resilient technology systems.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Manage all servers, cloud infrastructure, and CMS platforms for zero downtime.
Lead cybersecurity protocols to prevent breaches and ransomware attacks.
Oversee live streaming infrastructure and multimedia technology integration.
Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity systems.
Manage vendor relationships for software, hosting, and technical support.
Ensure data backup compliance and rapid restoration capability.
Lead IT support team for newsroom and business operations.
Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues in real-time.
Implement IT strategies aligned with digital growth plans.
Coordinate with editorial for CMS optimization and feature upgrades.
Manage technology budget and procurement lifecycle.
Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
