Job Context:
∎ Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK), a national level non-government women`s organization, mandated to promote gender equality, human rights and fostering personal and political empowerment of women and girls in Bangladesh. NUK extended its eye care services under its integrated health and family development Programme in Kishoreganj district with the mission is to provide high quality eye care services to the rural poor for prevention and control of needless and avoidable blindness in Bangladesh. Now, Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK) operating an independent Kishoreganj Eye Hospital (KEH), Egaroshindur Community Hospital, NUK Eye Hospital and health based donor projects in Kishoreganj District and Dhaka.
∎ Currently, Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK) is looking for a dedicated, hard-working and self-motivated IT and MIS Officer who is capable to run the Organizational IT and MIS service proactively such as manages and implements hardware maintenance, software support, network and remote backups, upgrades, internet support and produces periodic reports regarding MIS and IT performance to maximize the clients care and smooth running of organizational IT and MIS support.
∎ The candidate have to know Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, able to handle all kinds of IT related task like web page management, well capability to manage hardware & software of computer or any other technical knowledge, strong analytical & problem solving ability, communicative capability with colleagues/clients/vendors regarding management purpose and MIS support to management and periodic reporting.
∎ Candidate who have goal oriented, risk and challenge taker, achiever and excellent leader with have relevant field experiences are encouraged to apply confidently.
∎ Frequent travel between Dhaka and project offices/hospitals locations
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and routine care of all the office IT equipment such as Printers, Scanners, Photocopy Machine, PABX, Digital daily attendance, Digital display board;
∎ Ensuring uninterrupted and trouble free operation of all computers under all project office/hospitals;
∎ Manage and control software and domain licenses.
∎ Maintain IT stock information.
∎ Plan and process for procurement of IT resources and repair works coordinating with procurement department.
∎ Ensure setup and maintenance of server, router, IP camera, websites etc.
∎ Ensure periodic data backup.
∎ Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi to ensure full coverage.
∎ Ensure all IT and MIS based periodic reports are done in timely manner;
∎ Willingness to frequent field visits in organizational field offices;
