Job Context:
∎ To implement a comprehensive program to support Infection Prevention and Control (IPC). The candidate will undertake IPC trainings and intensive supervision and monitoring in the facilities.
∎ Reporting to: Medical in Charge
∎ Department: Health
∎ Expected Start Date: ASAP
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2020.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will work under the supervision of the medical in charge to provide support to the whole team :
∎ Manage the IPC team with particular emphasis on capacity building of staff through mentoring, training, and ensuring that all staff have up-to-date.
∎ Identify staff needs, ensuring that job descriptions are developed and well understood, properly qualified staff are recruited and inducted and trained.
∎ Be aware of, understand, comply with and actively promote all of Concern s policies and procedures and ensure all IPC team members are also aware of, understand and comply with these policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure that work within the operation is planned and organized in a way which will meet the organization s needs in the most cost effective manner possible; ensuring that team members are given appropriate workloads and are working efficiently.
∎ Identify and take appropriate and timely action to fill resource gaps (create new roles or launch timely recruitment to replace a leaver).
∎ Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with all of Concern s policies and procedures,
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2 years of experience (at least 2 years of strong clinical/ acute care background)
∎ Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is desirable.
∎ Committed individual with the experience and desire to develop and implement IPC approaches, training, etc.
∎ Demonstrated experience in training and/or mentoring, excellent facilitation skills and ability to lead training seminars and exercises with a working knowledge of IPC practice and theory
∎ Knowledge and experience in patient care practices including: disinfection, sterilization.
∎ Demonstrated experience in management of programs, personnel and working with multiple partners and stakeholders
∎ Strong computer skills
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
