Educational Requirements:
∎ Active enrolment or recent completion of Masters Program in Agricultural Science / Anthropology / Sociology or related fields with specialized knowledge in qualitative assessment methods and process.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communicate and collect information from local government offices including BADC and BMDA.
∎ Listing respondents from given address, going to the villages.
∎ Support the testing of case study, FGD, KII instruments in the field.
∎ Organize the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Key Informant Interviews (KII).
∎ Take notes and record the responses from the FGD and KII.
∎ Transcribe the records (verbatim/ each respondent separately identified) in Bangla, then translate to English.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by the Research Officer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Relevant experience of conductingCase studies, FGD, KII and transcription in Bangla with English translation.
∎ Evident experience in qualitative data collection.
∎ Prior experience in recording FGD, KII responses and transcription with translation.
∎ Ability to write clearly and concisely.
∎ Fluency in Bangla typing and English translation.
∎ Initiative, sound judgment and demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with different stakeholders and staff members from different cultural backgrounds.
∎ He/ She will have to bring their own laptop computers to the office and the field.
∎ Physically and mentally willing to move to the field any time.
Salary: Tk. 15000 (Monthly)
