∎ IDF offers internship program where talented and motivated young professionals get a chance to work on meaningful projects. The Internship Program encompasses the wide breadth of IDF’s programs where interns work hands-on at the field and head office, learn from experienced professionals in development and get in-depth understanding and insight into poverty alleviation and social development work in Bangladesh.
∎ IDF project department is responsible for designing, developing and implementing different impact oriented development projects for the target beneficiaries towards ensuring sustained livelihood. The noteworthy projects that IDF is currently implementing includes, High Value Fruits and Crops Production and Marketing under Rural Microenterprise Transformation Project (RMTP), Water Credit Adoption (WCAD) project; Improvement of Knowledge on Common Diseases through Research and Training for the Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh; Electric Three-Wheeler (E3W) Charging to improve Livelihoods for EV Drivers in Bangladesh; Leadership to ensure adequate Nutrition (LEAN); Protection of Natural Breeding Places of Halda River; Red Chittagong Cattle (RCC); Goyal Protection, Preservation and Development; Black Bengal Goat; Conservation of Hilly Chicken; Natural Cultivation of Kuchia; Seaweeds production, Processing and Marketing; Fruits Production and Processing; Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP) etc. To deploy in the project department, IDF is looking for fresh graduates for a short-term internship.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The duties and responsibilities of the Intern are as follows: Assisting the supervisor in drafting project concept note
∎ Drafting project related monthly reports in line with the demand of the donors
∎ Maintaining projects related correspondence among the implementing teams
∎ Closely work with colleagues engaged for implementation of different projects
∎ Ensuring proper data input and analysis, report preparation and submission to supervisor
∎ Drafting letters, emails, and project progress report both in Bangla and English
∎ Monitoring the progress of the different projects and initiate for necessary actions to accomplish the task on time with quality
∎ Documentation and managing project related files
∎ Visit to project implementation area may be required
∎ Carrying out any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor/IDF authority as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience on writing academic/research report will get preference.
∎ A short workshop and problem-solving sessions shall be organized to select the potential candidates on the basis of participation and contribution.
