Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in data management, reporting, and analysis in humanitarian or development projects.
- Proficiency in tools like SPSS, Power BI, Excel, and database management systems.
- Experience with 5W reporting and Activity Information reports in a humanitarian context.·
- Strong analytical and visualization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Deliverables:·
- Monthly 5W and Activity Information reports.
- Accurate and comprehensive project datasets and dashboards.
- Data analysis summaries and visualizations for decision-making.
Responsibilities & Context: Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the position of Information Management Officer for implementing 'Education and Protection for Refugee Children (EPRC) Project' funded by UNHCR, located at Cox's Bazar District.
Objectives of the Role:·
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date project data for monitoring and reporting purposes.·
- To develop and manage reporting systems, including 5W and Activity Information reports.·
- To support data visualization and analysis for decision-making and donor reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage databases to store project data securely and efficiently.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry, validation, and storage.·
- Develop and maintain project-specific dashboards for real-time monitoring.
- Prepare 5W reports, Activity Information reports, and other required datasets.
- Generate visualizations and infographics using Power BI and other tools.
- Support donor reporting by providing data summaries and analyses.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and statistical analysis using SPSS and Excel.
- Identify trends, gaps, and areas of improvement based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with the project team to provide insights into project improvement.
- Train project staff on data collection tools, systems, and processes.
- Ensure adherence to data protection and management standards.
Safeguarding and PSEA:
- S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)’s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
- Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
