Responsibilities & Context:
BSA Group of Companies for its 100% export oriented RMG sector producing and supplying woven and knit garments (Top and Bottom) is looking for Industrial Engineer in the rank of MANAGER for ensuring the generation of accurate factory efficiency, performance and productivity trend reports, line efficiency, line performance, changeover effectiveness, and capacity utilization of the factories in following manner.
The position is Chattogram based:
- Planning and Evaluation of production process, identifying the setback and obstacle’s and recommending process improvement.
- Continue to look for opportunity to implement work aids to reduce steps, time and cost against the targeted production.
- Ensuring line balancing as per layout. time and motion study for all styles. Preparing SMV database for all styles, optimum utilization of Man and Machine with cost effectivity.
- To manage the garment technologists in their samples evaluation work, coordinating with the total Technical and IE teams.
- Working closely with the merchandising team to ensure that key dates for sampling is timely ensured.
- Working on line layout and line balancing intended to sustainable production efficiency with ensuring maximum efficiency using IE method / tools
- Study and record time, motion, method, and speed involved in performance of production, maintenance and segregation of clerical, and other workers of operations for such purposes in order establishing standard production rates or improving efficiency.
- Reviewing operators' skill level (monthly/quarterly/annually) and ensuring the standard of salary cost with workers’ efficiency matrix.
- Preparing workers' assessment report in all levels of production workers (Cutting, Sewing, Finishing) to check the deficiency of overall efficiency of production people and production trend of the factory in order to search further development or improvement.
- Innovate and benchmark new method/ technique/ ideas to improve and achieve manufacturing excellence
- Follow-up day to day production quantity to assure everything is running smoothly
