Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
∎ Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
∎ Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
∎ Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
∎ Reviews production schedules, processes, and specifications.
∎ Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
∎ Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues.
∎ Identifies potential locations and determines facility design.
∎ Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
∎ Prepares inventory analysis and procurement purchase orders to address production needs.
∎ Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.
∎ Helps to develop instruction manuals for production personnel.
∎ Hires, trains, and oversees production personnel.
∎ Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.
∎ Generates process documentation and reports.
∎ Works with technical writers to prepare client and customer proposals.
