Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Professional experience working with IM-related activity, ArcGIS/QGIS proficiency is mandatory.
∎ Experience in the use of tablets & smartphones and associated software.
∎ Experience data collection through ODK/KOBO software and other mobile application software.
∎ Able to prepare analytical reports based on geophysical data,Excellent computer skills.
∎ Able to oversee multiple tasks, prioritizing and delegating as required.
∎ Knowledge of different data collection methodologies.
∎ Ability to formulate IM-related technical requirements and Operating Procedures.
∎ Gender sensitive.
∎ Fluent in English and the local language.
∎ Willingness to work in Refugee Camps.
∎ Willingness to work under pressure during emergency response.
∎ Implement and regularly update the Information Management Strategy and disseminate all information management related products to the management and relevant sectors.
∎ Prepare & submission the sectoral, incidental, weekly, monthly, half-yearly and yearly progress report in a timely manner.
∎ Develop and update Open Data Kits (ODK)/ KoboToolbox to ensure high quality data collection.
∎ Collect and disseminate all kinds of information management related products such as Activity Info, MHIRT, CAIPP, SAT etc. produced by department, organization, relevant cluster, UN agencies and other agencies.
∎ Organize and maintain GIS data of all Shelter & Site Development facilities in accordance with the relevant data management protocols.
∎ Design necessary data collection forms, ensuring that the purpose and use of data collected is clear and that questions are simple, clear and collectable.
∎ Prepare and update the GIS maps of the Shelter & Site Development activity according to the need of periodical report, project’s and any other useful facilities connected to the Shelter & Site Development sector.
∎ Supporting adaptive management by recommending adjustments to project activities based on M&E findings of all camps.
∎ Keep tracking of financial, procurement and logistics related database producing from department.
∎ Develop departmental capacity for formulating the overall information management system.
∎ Participate in Cluster and inter-cluster meetings representing the deploying organization.
∎ Provide training and relevant technical support to Camp Unit as well as data enumerators for extracting reliable data.
∎ Under the digitalization of the project documentation, transform the manual documentation record system to the digital recording platforms.
∎ Taking lead in developing, launching, updating and managing software and other relevant technical tools.
∎ Develop an information-sharing platform as a web-portal.
∎ Identify gaps and discrepancy in the data and properly validating with the relevant unit.
∎ Work closely with the management for Information management and reporting to ensuring the better information management services and overall reporting and documentation of the Shelter & Site Development project in NGO Forum under the NGOF-UNHCR Program in Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Any other duties may be assigned by the Project Management according to the need.
