∎ Duty Station: Head Office in Banani, Dhaka with occasional field visits as per project needs.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The ICT Business Development Manager will have two major categories of responsibilities:
∎ 1. Partnership Management
∎ 2. Institutionalization & Commercialization of ICT application
∎ 1. Partnership Management:
∎ Livestock ecosystem analysis and stakeholder mapping in view of potential users and clients of ICT-enabled services.
∎ Targeting potential business organizations having potential to be a commercial client of the services and making client-specific sales strategy.
∎ Manage stakeholders' partnership agreement life cycle as the primary account person.
∎ Creating targeted and customized communication materials including pitch deck for targeted organizations, for both internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Managing the various threads of partnerships and sales.
∎ Organizing meetings, creating support material, doing innovation/sales pitch, conducting co-creation & ideation workshops and preparing follow-up reports.
∎ Assess crisis situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
∎ Proficiency in multiple visual tools (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator) to create professional presentations and pitches.
∎ Knack to learn new topics to connect technology and livestock commercial needs.
∎ 2. Institutionalization & Commercialization of ICT application:
∎ Private Sector Partners:
∎ Strike written agreements with business clients for collaboration in the form of pilot and/or actual sales, can include but not limited to, Animal Health Companies, Artificial Companies, Vaccine Companies, Pharma Companies, Microinsurance providers, Micro Finance Institutions, Financial Institutions.
∎ Explore partnership opportunities with TSP (Training Service Providers) to commercialize training using ICT solutions.
∎ Collaborate and strike tri-patriate and two-way partnerships with private sector enterprises from different industries.
∎ Government Partners:
∎ Liaising with the relevant government officials, sector specialists, solution designers, technology team and other possible stakeholders as necessary.
∎ Work closely and in collaboration with MSD Team Lead, and ICT Team Lead to ensure Activity's goals are met, while ensuring timely reporting on performance indicators to ACDI/VOCA & mPower Social.
Additional Requirements:
∎ S/he should have minimum 8 (eight) years of experience in project management, ICT 4 development and/or development sector. Experience in livestock sector will be an added advantage.
∎ Relevant project leading experience with development sector, private sector, software development and management consultancy.
∎ Experience of working closely with relevant government bodies, private companies, and development agencies. Candidates with livestock specific experience will get preference.
∎ Understanding of ICT solutions and prior experience with commercializing ICT solutions/applications via b2b sales, onboarding key stakeholders, investors etc. will be an added advantage.
∎ Proven networking skills for developing and managing stakeholder relationships.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English.
∎ Advanced communication, negotiation and decision-making skills to do effective and goal-oriented business development with experience in developing reports and relevant communication materials.
∎ Prior experience working in collaborative teams working with multi stakeholders' settings and reporting requirements.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skill to manage internal and external stakeholder, as well as donor communication and reporting guidelines.
