∎ Age 27 to 40 years
∎ Professional Work Experience in Hygiene Promotion & Community Engagement Approaches such as CCC-PLTH, RANAS & child-focused hygiene in a Humanitarian Context;
∎ Proven and good understanding of community-based approaches;
∎ Presentation & Reporting Skill;
∎ Able to communicate in the local language (Cox’s Bazar);
∎ Ability to work within a team;
∎ Attitude to work flexible hours if required.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Implement & supervise hygiene promotion, behavioral change & community engagement activities such as CCC-PLTH, RANAS, MHM & child focused hygiene at Rohingya Camps;
∎ Ensure gender and diversity inclusion (persons with disabilities, children, older persons, etc.) for enabling inclusive and sustainable WASH;
∎ Supervise & facilitate capacity development training/ orientation for Community Hygiene Promoters, Community-based Hygiene Volunteers & other community stakeholder’s/community groups;
∎ Conduct daily monitoring visits to WASH facilities through CHP & CHV to ensure proper maintenance & utilization of WASH facilities by beneficiaries;
∎ Formation & reformation of different community groups as per their ToR & catalyze active participation in community engagement activities;
∎ Ensure the functionality of community stakeholders/groups such as WASH Committee, MHM Facilitators Groups, Children Leader Groups, Latrine & Water User Groups, CCC-PLTH Groups, etc. on community mobilization and sensitization for hygiene promotion;
∎ Maintain full qualitative and quantitative records and reports on hygiene promotion activities, disaggregated by age, gender, and diversity where appropriate;
∎ Ensure community awareness on CFRM and enhance community engagement to support WASH team through CFRM intervention;
∎ Organize & facilitate National & International Day Observation at the camp level;
∎ Plan and ensure the distribution of hygiene kits and promote effective use of all distributed hygiene items;
∎ Practice, promote and endorse PSEA policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action;
∎ Develop communication with community leaders (Imam, Majhi) and key community stakeholder’s/community groups to ensure better community engagement through participation & ownership;
∎ Prepare and maintain day to day logistic arrangements on hygiene promotion activities such as internal purchase request, quality control of material delivered by suppliers, planning team movements with logistics;
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings regarding hygiene promotion or other relevant issues as assigned by the supervisor;
∎ Prepare monthly report and documentation on different hygiene activities and accumulate all data for ensuring quality & authenticity;
∎ Assisting “Technical Manager – Hygiene” in quality improvement of activities, reporting, documentation & knowledge management issues;
∎ Perform any other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization
