Job Context:
∎ Provision of Comprehensive WASH services for the Rohingya refugees and the host communities living in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until March 31, 2022.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that hygiene promotion activities are on place in line with IOM Hygiene Promotion guideline.
∎ Prepare plan, visit field and update on Hygiene Promotion and update Hygiene Promotion Officer regularly.
∎ Prepare distribution plan and distribute the Hygiene kits maintaining proper documentation.
∎ Guide and Support hygiene and disinfection volunteers to continue hygiene promotion and dis-infection activities regularly.
∎ Conduct hygiene promotion session to ensure positive changes by the community as well as role model to the Rohingya volunteers.
∎ Ensure the follow up of daily field-based activities (hygiene related) and guide the Volunteers accordingly.
∎ Encourage WASH user group for look after WASH facilities and ensure community engagement.
∎ Conduct different survey and assessment as per project need and monitor the hygiene status by using the monitoring tools.
∎ Organize & conduct campaign in block to prevent AWD & other preparedness activities.
∎ Provide support to the Rohingya Volunteers to solve the challenges taking support from other members of the team.
∎ Ensure verify of all registers regularly using by the Volunteers.
∎ Prepare different Hygiene related report as per require of the project and submit timely.
∎ Update supervisor on a daily basis and continue good team works.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
∎ Work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.
∎ Professional work experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring, operation, and reporting.
∎ Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox's Bazaar).
∎ Medium in English (written / verbal).
Salary:
∎ Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
