Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ • Bachelor's degree or HSC with three years experience in the relevant field (only for female)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support to find quality HP Volunteers from the beneficiary community and engage them according to the organizational volunteer recruitment policies.
∎ Provide capacity-building support and hands-on training to the Hygiene Promotion Volunteers.
∎ Participate in monthly and weekly planning and review meetings.
∎ Ensure that the beneficiaries are having improved hygiene knowledge, attitude, and practices.
∎ Observe and follow up the hygiene practices of project beneficiaries in the respective area.
∎ Appropriately record the learning and findings, summarizing with meaningful interpretation.
∎ Explore the reasons for not practicing hygienic living and behaving. Intervene with logically connected actions for promoting the hygienic practices in a different segment of the community.
∎ Illustrate the gaps and need in consultation with community stakeholders and WASH facility users and provide rightful information to the Hygiene Officer for further actions.
∎ Train and supervise the hygiene promotion volunteers to follow a similar course of action for promoting hygienic practices.
∎ Conduct community consultation meetings, focus group discussions, KII with different level of target groups, individuals.
∎ Contribute to the community mobilization for active participation in hygiene promotion sessions and inclusion activities, including empowerment to take responsibility for cleaning and maintenance of the WASH facilities.
∎ Collect community-level feedback and ensure functionality of all the WASH facilities engaging WASH user groups and committees and through liaison with the relevant project staff members and the volunteers.
∎ Carry out water sampling and the quality tests like FRC, PH, Rapid FC test, etc. at household and communal level, collect appropriate information and provide to the line manager. In case of contamination take appropriate intervention as per the guidelines.
∎ Ensure HH Level waste segregation and collection according to the SWM operational guidelines.
∎ Ensure engagement of different target groups like male, female adolescent & child, people with disabilities in hygiene promotion, water supply, and sanitation to understand their needs and to ensure access.
∎ Actively participate in the WASH NFI distribution activities and Post Distribution Monitoring works according to the project needs.
∎ Based on the identified intervention needs for hygienic practice, support HPVs in the delivery of effective hygiene awareness messaging and take part periodically at different levels for the supervision and guidance. Based on the identified needs, organize context specific hygiene sessions and promotional activities.
∎ Supervise selected hygiene promotion volunteers for daily activities, capacity development of WASH committee/user groups to ensure community mobilization for the functionality of WASH infrastructures and hygienic practices.
∎ Support the technical team to identify the WASH facilities repairment/construction requirement for the specific location or beneficiaries on the ground and act promptly as advised by the technical team for the way forward such as community consultation, securing space, etc.
∎ In case of an emergency (i.e. cyclone, flood, fire, etc.), take part in rapid WASH facility assessment by orienting community volunteers in identifying the actual facility status, and summarizing the findings to share with the technical team to act urgently.
∎ Develop monthly/weekly activity plan and ensure quality and timely implementation. Ensure community engagement by sharing the activity plan with the community groups beforehand.
∎ Keep record of the complaints and feedback from the community, take action as per the system, follow-up the response and update information in the Complaint/Feedback Mechanism.
∎ Collect data about the respective field activities and submit daily reports.
∎ Any other job assigned by the supervisor according to the project needs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Local language skills,
∎ Experience in using mobile applications,
∎ Survey and data collection experiences,
∎ Good communication skills

Salary: Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
