Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Working experience with NGO, Development Agency in WASH response.
∎ Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
∎ Work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.
∎ Professional work experience in borehole, bore log, lithology, data logger operation, bore hole monitoring etc.
∎ Experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting.
∎ Proficient knowledge about Aquifer, Borehole parameter, Borehole test (pumping test).
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (AutoCAD, Borehole monitoring software, GIS software, MS Word, Excel etc.)
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervision of installation of data logger, dip meter, submersible pump etc.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of data logger, dip meter and ground water monitoring.
∎ Collect water level, water pressure & temperature data according to the work plan and submit it to the respective supervisor.
∎ Research and analyze the data on environmental impact of pollution, erosion, drought and other problem.
∎ Conduct regular inspection of water quality at field and supervision of disinfection process of all WASH facilities.
∎ Monitoring submersible pump, data logger for water level, water pressure and temperature, dip meter set up etc.
∎ Provide technical support for production borehole drilling as well preparing bore log report, geophysical logging & use of water logger at bore hole.
∎ Provide a technical support to conduct Pump test to ensure maximum level of abstraction rate for meeting up the demand.
∎ Provide necessary support to project team as required.
∎ Work closely with project management team as well as UNICEF & Dhaka University Ground Water Monitoring team at Cox’s Bazar.

∎ Construction and upgradation of piped water systems in the Rohingya refugee camps and host communities-Camp 15 & adjacent Host community Ukhia.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until March 31, 2026.
