Experience:

• 2 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Bachelor in Hydrology / Hydrogeology / Geology / Geology and mining 2 years relevant working experience also may apply.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Age 28 to 40 years

• Working experience with NGO, Development Agency in WASH response.     
• Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
• Work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.
• Professional work experience in borehole, bore log, lithology, data logger operation, bore hole monitoring etc.
• Experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting.
• Proficient knowledge about Aquifer, Borehole parameter, Borehole test (pumping test).
• Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (AutoCAD, Borehole monitoring software, GIS software, MS Word, Excel etc.)
• Medium in English (written/verbal)

• Supervision of installation of data logger, dip meter, submersible pump etc.
• Conduct regular inspections of data logger, dip meter and ground water monitoring.
• Collect water level, water pressure & temperature data according to the work plan and submit it to the respective supervisor.
• Research and analyze the data on environmental impact of pollution, erosion, drought and other problems.
• Conduct regular inspection of water quality at field and supervision of disinfection process of all WASH facilities.
• Monitoring submersible pump, data logger for water level, water pressure and temperature, dip meter set up etc.
• Provide technical support for production borehole drilling as well preparing bore log report, geophysical logging & use of water logger at bore hole.
• Provide a technical support to conduct Pump test to ensure maximum level of abstraction rate for meeting up the demand.
• Provide necessary support to project team as required.
• Work closely with project management team as well as UNICEF & Dhaka University Ground Water Monitoring team at Cox’s Bazar.
