Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree in liberal Arts, Law or Business Administration from a recognized University. MBA in Human Resource Management is plus points.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Process and manage the entire payroll system, compensation and benefits programs of the organization. Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with local relevant laws.
∎ Timely and accurate calculation of Income tax as per Income Tax Ordinance for employee's annual income.
∎ Management of Employee's Provident Fund, i.e. conducts PF meeting on a timely manner, effective management of provident fund investment, employee's loan schedule, audit of provident fund, etc.
∎ Management of Employee's Gratuity Fund.
∎ Assist in development of policies and procedures to support the compensation and benefits function and ensure that all staffs are aware of benefits policies and procedures in place
∎ Participate in the regular local market surveys on compensation, benefits & other employment related issues and analyze market competitiveness with a view to propose identified gaps or the areas that require immediate focus
∎ Maintain personnel records and associated human resource information systems (HRIS)
∎ Coordinate the employee relation policies for addressing employee related matters and resolving problems in work place such as supporting work-life balance, safe working conditions, and grievance handling
∎ Coordinate the performance management system of the organization throughout the year
∎ Handle periodic audit, both internal & external, on HR issues, largely in the areas of compensation & benefits
∎ Work closely with Head of HR and Admin on Talent Retention strategies, Development programs, competency model, Talent pipeline etc. Will assist in the succession planning processes of the organization
∎ Assist in the planning, designing and motoring the learning and development activities to meet the basic competencies for the job and that the organization will need in future.
∎ Provide services as may become necessary to support the operation of the business as directed by the Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Prior Work Experience: Minimum 7-10 year working experience in a power plant or similar industry in similar field
∎ Additional Training/Qualification: Diploma in Personnel or Human Resource Management and familiarization in SAP system will add value.
∎ Knowledge: Knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law especially employee benefits, Income Tax Ordinance, formulation of service policies & directives, dealing effectively with people and implementation of rules & policies.
∎ Skills and Abilities: Must develop interpersonal relations to deal effectively with employees, have skills and tact to manage company HR program. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Good experience of HRIS, Proficiency in MS-Office preferably in MS excel and Power Point;
∎ Language Proficiency: Must possess effective oral and written communication skills.
