Job Context:
∎ As a Hostel In-charge, you will be responsible for overseeing RI building at your allocate building location with professional and customer-focus manner. You will monitoring and evaluation building performance to ensure all activities and services are met the customer needs. You will provide technical support and guidance to your team for overall activities and create a safe and friendly environment in all RI buildings. You will get more detail orientation from RI coordinator and RI manager.
∎ Reporting to: Hostel Coordinator
∎ Department: Protection
∎ Expected Start Date: January 1, 2020.
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2020.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist Hostel Coordinator on building operational and management structure, procedure, policies and all activities
∎ Assist Hostel Coordinator set up staffing and assign staff's responsibilities
∎ Provide technical support and guidance to staffs in managing of building and customer-centred service skillEvaluationonitoring building performance to ensure all activities and services are met the customer needs.
∎ Direct and close supervise to three hostel assistant
∎ Assist Hostel Coordinator design capacity building plan to staffs to able to arrange activities and provide services met the customer needs
∎ Close collaborate with other RI department and other services providers to support need of customers
∎ Ensure written report to Hostel Coordinator of the highest quality and completed in a timely manner.
∎ Develop monthly work plans in advance and present to Hostel coordinator.
∎ Ensure recognized international best practices and Relief International key policies and Code of Conduct.
∎ Any other responsibilities as requested by direct supervisor
Additional Requirements:

∎ Experience in human resource management, hotel management or hospital management, preferable
∎ Demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities
∎ Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills
∎ Demonstrate multi-skill about recreational, edutainment and health-wellness and able to transfer knowledge to other who express interest to learn
∎ Cultural awareness and sensitivity
∎ Strong background and skills in management
∎ Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
∎ Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively in written and spoken English
∎ Enthusiasm to learn
∎ Optimistic and friendly
∎ Flexibility
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
