Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall security operations of the organization.
Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Supervise security guards, supervisors, and control room personnel.
Ensure protection of company assets, employees, visitors, and facilities.
Conduct regular risk assessments and identify security vulnerabilities.
Monitor access control systems, CCTV operations, and perimeter security.
Coordinate investigations related to theft, fraud, misconduct, accidents, or security breaches.
Maintain liaison with local law enforcement agencies, fire service, civil defense, and intelligence authorities.
Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
Plan and manage VIP security arrangements when required.
Conduct security drills, evacuation exercises, and crisis management training.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
Manage deployment schedules, duty rosters, attendance, and discipline of security staff.
Oversee security equipment maintenance and procurement requirements.
Develop security awareness programs for employees and staff members.
Monitor transportation and logistics security when applicable.
Ensure proper gate control, visitor management, and vehicle inspection procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational information.
Prepare monthly security performance reports for senior management.
Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Leadership & Administrative Duties
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel.
Establish high standards of discipline and professionalism within the department.
Control departmental budget and optimize security resources effectively.
Conduct regular performance reviews and operational audits.
Provide strategic recommendations to management regarding organizational security improvements.
Preferred Qualifications & Background
Retired Major, Captain, or Senior Warrant Officer from Army/Navy/Air Force.
Strong leadership, crisis management, and team supervision skills.
Experience in industrial, corporate, factory, or commercial security management preferred.
Knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response protocols.
Good communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
