A strategic leadership role to lead the entire risk, audit, compliance, inspection and sustainable governance agenda of SAJIDA Foundation across Microfinance, Development Programme and Social Enterprises.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Audit and Risk Management Committee
Major Responsibilities

• Set strategy and priorities for the integrated Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance & QA, Inspection units.

• Advise the CEO and the Committee with independent insights on financial, operational, compliance and reputational risks.

• Own the ERM framework and risk register; run quarterly risk reviews and hold units accountable for mitigation.

• Oversee portfolio quality (PAR, credit risk, loan files, cash controls) and act on early-warning signals.

• Approve the risk-based audit plan, review significant findings, and ensure quality against ISA, IAS, IFRS and GIAS.

• Ensure full MRA and regulatory compliance; oversee inspections and fraud investigations through to closure.

• Lead and develop a large, dispersed team; represent SAJIDA to regulators, statutory auditors and donors.
