  • Experience: Minimum 12 years in Industrial Engineering with expertise in circular knit garment manufacturing, including hands-on experience on sewing machines and factory floor operations.

  • Technical Knowledge: Lean Manufacturing, GSD, EOS, CPM, and production optimization.

  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams, make strategic decisions, and drive results.

  • Analytical Skills: Data-driven problem-solving and performance monitoring.

  • Soft Skills: Effective communication, results-oriented mindset, and ability to work under pressure.

  • The candidate must be well-acquainted with the technology relating to garments manufacturing automation systems.



Responsibilities & Context:

Cotton Group is a leading circular knit garment manufacturer, committed to operational excellence, sustainability, and innovation. We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on, results plus data driven Head of Planning & Industrial Engineering to lead production operations, optimize processes, and drive efficiency across the factory. They are expected to partner closely with the Head of Production to achieve ambitious factory targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead production planning and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery, cost-effective operations and optimized resource allocation.

  • Optimize costing processes to maximize profitability while maintaining product quality.

  • Design and implement efficient production line layouts, improve workflow and balance workloads.

  • Drive process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, GSD, EOS, EPM and CPM methodologies.

  • Set realistic, challenging production targets and monitor progress.

  • Reduce CPM and increase EPM through strategic planning, operator training, and workflow optimization.

  • Monitor KPIs, analyze outputs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Furthermore, manage relationships with production teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure accurate SMV calculations, workflow optimization, and production-friendly sampling methods.

  • Oversee operator skill assessments, maintain skill matrices, and link compensation to performance.

  • Lead the implementation and integration of ERP systems to streamline planning, reporting, and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in pre-production meetings to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing production and IE team.
