• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in banking/NBFI operations.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale operations, recovery, and compliance functions.
• Deep understanding of the financial regulatory landscape in Bangladesh.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

The Opportunity: Head of Operations

• We are looking for a Head of Operations to lead our end-to-end operational infrastructure spanning asset and liability operations, credit card services, documentation and insurance, treasury operations, regulatory reporting, and recovery management. This is a mission, critical leadership role, reporting directly to the top management, and pivotal to the company`s strategic vision and future scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Lead the Operations Division with a focus on innovation, compliance, risk mitigation, and efficiency.

• Translate organizational goals into actionable operational plans.

• Drive cost-optimization and service excellence.

Operational Oversight

• Manage cross-functional teams covering Asset Operations, Credit Cards, Treasury, Transaction Management, Documentation, Insurance, Recovery, MIS, and Regulatory Reporting.

• Ensure accurate, timely disbursements, settlements, documentation, and reporting as per local and international standards.

• Present rescheduling, settlement, and restructuring memos to the Board.

Compliance, Risk & Recovery

• Uphold strict compliance with all regulatory bodies including Bangladesh Bank.

• Lead NPL management and recovery strategies for distressed assets.

• Navigate litigation processes and coordinate with legal teams.

Digital Transformation & Process Excellence

• Champion automation, process innovation, and digital-first initiatives across the division.

• Implement robust internal controls to reduce risk and improve TATs.

People Leadership

• Inspire and lead a multi-disciplinary team of seasoned professionals.
