Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum bachelor degree in Economics/Finance or other business related subjects
∎ Professional degree in Shariah in Islamic Banking will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent is responsible for managing, planning, organizing, controlling and guiding day to day activities of the Islamic Banking side of the bank at the Head Office as well as the Branches of the Bank
∎ Develop yearly Business Plans and schedules and proposed capacity plan for the Islamic Banking Division.
∎ The incumbent must formulate business strategy. policies and plans, set strategic goals and objectives and implement necessary programs to achieve the targets for Islamic Banking.
∎ Market survey of existing shariah based banking products, review the existing products of the bank and formulate variety of deposit & investment products for the bank.
∎ Procure & manage the deposits & investment portfolios under Islamic banking strictly in shariah principles
∎ Be able to promote and market the Islamic Banking & Finance program to all the stakeholders
∎ Capacity development of existing employees by providing appropriate training about Shariah banking
∎ Any other duties assigned by the Management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 years of experience in Financial Industry (must have 5 years' experience similar role)
∎ Must have sound Islamic investment risk and compliance management knowledge
∎ Must have proper knowledge/experience in coordination with the Shariah Supervisory Committee
∎ Must have strong communication, presentation, negotiation skills
